PPWR and your packaging
  1. Developments from day-to-day work

Through our contact with customers and manufacturers, we follow new materials, product development and changes in the packaging market. That knowledge informs our advice for your product.

  2. PPWR and packaging legislation

We follow the PPWR and other packaging rules. Together with the manufacturer, we discuss what the requirements mean for your choice of materials, application and the product information you need.

    Read more about PPWR
  3. A complete packaging concept

A cup, seal and snap-on lid do not have to come from the same factory. We combine the capabilities of different manufacturers and coordinate the components. You keep one point of contact.

  4. A network of specialist manufacturers

We work with more than 22 European factories, including in Germany, Italy and France. Each has its own machinery and specialism. We look for a manufacturer that suits your design, volumes and schedule.

  5. Independent, practical advice

We compare the options from different factories. We discuss the trade-offs between quality, costs and sustainability, as well as what is technically feasible on your packaging line.

PPWR and your packaging

The PPWR is the European regulation on packaging and packaging waste. It has applied since 12 August 2026. Different requirements are being introduced in stages.

PPWR information from the European Commission

Are you updating existing packaging or packing a new product? We discuss the requirements of your application with the manufacturer and compare material options. This brings legislation into the decision alongside protection, processing and costs.

What does the PPWR mean for my packaging?

The regulation includes requirements for recyclability, material use and packaging design. The requirements and deadlines depend on the packaging and its application.
